ReplyAs a future resident of Barrington ( Hampton Meadows area ) I follow these types of postings closely. I am not as educated in these matters as you guys are but I did just notice an article on the Woonsockett Patch that seems to be dealing with the same 8% issue...Just thould I would share in case you haven't seen it...

ReplyPerhaps there will be some representation from Warren at this meeting...unlike the last one. Malik ? Felag ? Town Councilors ? Where does our Representative & Senator stand on this ? Oh...and don't we have a new Rep as well...Mr. Marshall ? We can certainly see that this is not an election year already....

Marching in the Bristol 4th of July parade and attending social events doesn't necessarily make someone a great politician....except in RI of course.

I remember reading this a couple years ago and was so excited at what was finally happening at the park here in the North End of Warren which has been my home for 14 years. It had been so long since the children ( and there are many ) have had a small playground close by as the other sections of town do. We saw the workers every day...we saw the progress. Last year the pieces of the playground were installed......and then were taken down. The 15 foot high mound of wood chipping has been there for several months...not sure why. It's once again become a social gathering place for loitering teenagers, and is still the eyesore it has been for so many years. I can't attend the town meetings so it's possible this has been discussed there...if so...maybe someone could give us an update...The North End of town deserves a little attention too :)
