Kathy Tirrell holds a BA in English from Rhode Island College. A former editor/writer for Paramount Cards, she's also written and sold hundreds of greeting cards for Gibson Greetings, Abbey Press, Gallant Greetings and many other companies.  Her articles have appeared in Writer's Digest Magazine and Woman's World. Locally, she's worked as a reporter/writer for The East Providence Post, The East Providence Reporter, The Times, and The Southcoast Insider. Kathy lives in East Providence with her husband and 3 children.
