I'm a 13-year Barrington resident.  I moved here from Chicago, but I am a native New Englander.  My grandmother predicted I'd move back because New England was "in my blood."

I work as an environmental consultant with a small "virtual" company, which means I get to work out of my sunroom in my pajamas.  I do a  thing called "risk assessment" which basically involves doing math on chemistry.  Nerd.

I'm an avid (some might say obsessive) gardener, but I put more stock in getting things to grow than in having a neat tailored garden.  Finally, having a front yard vegetable garden has become de rigueur.

I have a 18-year-old daughter, Gillian, just finishing up her freshman year at NYU.  How did that happen so fast?!
