Barrington Yoga in the Park, Neighbor

Barrington Yoga in the Park began during the midst of last year's COVID shutdown as a way to get people outside for self-care as well as a bit of a community builder and now gives area residents something similar to what neighboring communities offer. The idea was born when Jeff Brown, a local financial advisor and his daughter Nina were brainstorming finding a "a community in need" who they could offer free yoga classes to as part of the yoga teacher training program they did together. Originally 'Dad & Daughter' classes in their back yard, they soon needed more room and moved to regular classes at Police Cove Park on County Road and pop up classes throughout the East Bay.
