Free self-defense classes for women will be offered over four nights in March.
The Barrington Police Department is again offering free self-defense classes for women. The classes will run on March 4, 5, 6, and 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The classes are for women only between the ages of 16-100, but younger girls can attend if their mothers speak with Patrol Officer Dianne Pinto first. Mothers and daughters are encouraged to attend together. You can contact Pinto at the Barrington police station at 401-437-3930 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and the location of the classes.
