Freshman swimmer Grace Bellamy won a state championship in the 100-meter breaststroke on Sunday, pacing the team to a third-place finish in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League's girls' swimming championships, said George Finn, athletics director at Barrington High School. The boys' swim team also had a great meet on Monday, finishing fourth in the state, Finn said. The gymnastics team won its final regular season home match Tuesday to become the 2012-1013 Division 1 champions --the girls' first division championship in 14 years. The dates for the state and the site still have to be determined.
