The oldest a cappella group in the world visits Barrington on Friday evening, Jan. 18. The renowned Whiffenpoofs of Yale University perform at St. Andrew’s School at 7 pm. The concert takes place in the McCullochs Center for the Arts on the campus at 63 Federal Road. The concert benefits Mobile Loaves & Fishes, the food program for the homeless in Rhode Island, which operates out of several Barrington churches. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors at the door. You can get tickets in advance for $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Every year, 14 senior Yale men are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, according to the website. Founded in 1909, …
