Update: Health Dept. Pulls EMT License From Barrington Video Voyeurism Suspect

Former worker at Barrington Urgent Care arrested for taping two women in various stages of undress in X-ray room with cell phone has EMT license suspended.

On Thursday, the Rhode Island Department of Health suspended the Emergency Medical Technician license of Kristian Laferrier of Burrillville. Laferrier, who worked as a technician at Barrington Urgent Care, was arrested by the Barrington Police Department after an investigation revealed he had taped two women in various stages of undress at the center while undergoing x-ray exams. Dr. Michael Fine, Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health determined that "continuation of an active Emergency Medical Technician license for Kristian Laferriere constitutes an immediate threat to the health, welfare and safety to the public." Video Voyeurism Suspect Arrested

Former worker at Barrington Urgent Care arrested for taping two women in various stages of undress in X-ray room with cell phone.

According to a Barrington police report, on June 17, 2012 a 16-year-old female and her mother walked into the Barrington Police Headquarters to file a complaint. She stated while at the Barrington Urgent Care Center onMaple Avenue for x-rays she saw a cell phone propped up against a viewing window in theroom. She went and looked at the phone and could see a digital counter moving on the cellphone indicating a video was being recorded while she changed into the hospital "jonnie." On June 18, 2012 Detective Lt. Dino DeCrescenzo interviewed the x-ray technician, Kristian C. Laferriere, and he voluntarily turned over his phone to police.
