Grand Jury Indicts Police Sergeant
Barrington Sgt. Joseph Andreozzi has been indicted for obstructing justice and cyberstalking; he has been suspended without pay since last November.
Barrington Police Sgt. Joseph Andreozzi was indicted last Friday, Jan. 18, by a Providence County Grand Jury on one felony count of obstructing the judicial system and one count of cyberstalking, according to the Attorney General’s office. Andreozzi, 46, who has been out on suspension without pay since last November, is alleged to have harassed his ex-wife by electronic communications, according to the Attorney General’s office. He also tried between Aug. 30 and Aug. 31 last year to obstruct or impede the due administration of justice, according to the new release.
