Order Your 'Joe' From Special Olympians

On Monday morning, Sept. 24, Special Olympians will work behind the counter of the Dunkin' Donuts in Barrington to kick off a fundraiser for the organization through National Coffee Day, Sept. 29.

Special Olympians will be working behind the counter at the Dunkin’ Donuts in Barrington on Monday, Sept. 24, to kick off a week-long fundraiser that also celebrates National Coffee Day on Sept. 29. The Special Olympics athletes also will interact with guests from 8:30 to 10 am, according to Kate Barba of Regan Communications, which represents Dunkin’ Donuts. Patrons of the restaurant who make a $1 donation also will receive a coffee cup paper icon that they can sign and display in the restaurant, Barba said. That promotion will run through Sept. 29. Today Is Iced Coffee Day

Visit Dunkin' Donuts on County Road in Barrington for a reduced-price iced coffee and support Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Head to Dunkin' Donuts on County Road in Barrington today for a cheap coffee while supporting a good cause. Dunkin’ Donuts announced that today is Iced Coffee Day in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Mass. All day, participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants will offer guests a medium (24 oz.) cup of iced coffee for $1. Additionally, a small iced coffee will be reduced to 75 cents and a large will be reduced to $1.50. The proceeds from Iced Coffee sales today will be donated to The Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
