Your Pet Needs License, Rabies Shot
Barrington requires all dog and cat owners to get license for their pets by the end of April; a rabies clinic is scheduled for pets without shots on March 10.
Do you own a dog or a cat? Do you have a license for your pet? Has your dog or cat been vaccinated for rabies? Barrington requires that all dog and cat owners get a license for their pets during the month of April. No exceptions. It’s very easy to do. Just stop by the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall during regular business hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. If you no longer have a pet, tell the Town Clerk’s office as well. Call 247-1900, ext. 4. Now, about rabies. Barrington is hosting a rabies clinic on Sunday, March 10. It runs from 10 am to noon at the Department of Public Works garage on Upland Way. Make sure your dog is on a leash. Your cat must be in a carrier.
