Local Legislators Coming to Library

Common Cause Rhode Island is hosting a community forum in Barrington on Saturday that will bring local legislators to chat with you before the next General Assembly session starts.

Common Cause Rhode Island will give you a chance on Saturday morning, Nov. 10, to chat with state legislators from Barrington, Warren and Bristol. “We want to get people together with legislators early on in the process,” said Caroline Mailloux of Common Cause. “We want to begin conversations before the General Assembly session starts.” The community forum will run from 10 am to noon at the Barrington Public Library. It will focus on issues of government transparency and accountability in Rhode Island. All of the legislators in the three towns have been invited, Mailloux said.
