You want to build a book collection. But where do you start? How do you do it? Take some advice from a book collector on Wednesday evening, May 9, in an illustrated talk sponsored by the Barrington Preservation Society. Philip Maddock is described as an “avid book collector” by the preservation society. His talk is titled: “Beauty of the Book: Building a Collection.” Maddock's talk starts at 7 pm in the Barrington Public Library auditorium on the second floor. Bring lots of questions.
