Meet Democratic Candidates for Barrington Town Council

Town Council President June Speakman and Town Council Member Kate Weymouth are seeking re-election; Planning Board member Ann Strong is making her first run for office.

A political science professor, an architect, and a self-employed engineer and designer are the Democrats vying for seats on the Barrington Town Council in this year’s general election. Two of the Democrats already holds seats on the Town Council and are seeking re-election. One candidate, a newcomer to a campaign, is a member of the Barrington Planning Board. Barrington Patch asked Town Council President June Sager Speak, Town Council member Kate Weymouth, and Planning Board member Ann P. Strong to fill out a questionnaire that provides a brief profile of their backgrounds. You will see that Speakman is seeking her fourth term on the Town Council. Meet Democratic Candidates

The Barrington Democratic Town Committee and Grapes & Grains liquor store will host a "Meet the Candidates' event at 5 pm.

Democratic politics and fine wine will mix today, Sept. 9, in Barrington. A "Meet the Candidates" night is being hosted by the Democratic Town Committee at Grapes & Grains liquor store, 24 Bosworth St. It runs from 5 to 7 pm. Everyone is welcome. The Barrington Democratic Town Committee and Grapes & Grains liquor store on Bosworth Street are hosting a 'meet the candidates night'.

Fine wine and politics will mix in Barrington on Sunday, Sept. 9. The Democratic Town Committee is hosting a meet the candidates' night for local and statewide offices at Grapes & Grains liquor store, 24 Bosworth St. The event runs from 5 to 7 pm, according to Mary Alyce Gasbarro, chair of the Barrington Democratic Town Committee. If people in Barrington wish to not be led down a path of fiscal destruction then find some new leadership and vote them in. Frankly I'm bored with all the "wine and ice breakers" as well.
