You can access the location by taking Warren Avenue in Swansea to George Street. Look for a road by the boulder. You can park by the white entrance gate. Follow a dirt road to the refuge, which includes wide, well-cleared trails that lead to wooded areas and fields of wildflowers and birdboxes. One trail drops to a sandy beach.
