Wellness activities include exercise, tai chi, yoga, line dancing, chair massage, blood pressure checks, a flu clinic, and glaucoma screening. Seniors can get help with health insurance, prescription plans, and emergency dialer system installations. A seven-member Senior Center Advisory Board oversees operations. Friends of the Barrington Senior Center raises funds through a yearly campaign. A computer lab, the senior van and the fitness room are among their gifts. The Senior Center is located on the south side of the library and community center building.
