Domenic T. 'Gizzy' Gizzarelli, Formerly of Barrington

His funeral service is today at S. DiPardio Memorial Chapel in Woonsocket.

  Domenic T. “Gizzy” Gizzarelli, formerly of Princess Hill Road in Barrington, died on Wednesday, May 2013. He was 91. He was the husband of Mary (Kennedy) Gizzarelli and the stepfather to Thomas A. Shola and Vice Egan. He also is survived by his siblings, Francis Puchette and Elsie, Jane, Anna, and Marie Gizzarelli. His funeral service will be held today, May 20, at 9 am from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Charles Church, North Main Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass.

Albert W. Prichard, 81, Retired Defense Engineer

Albert W. Prichard, of Barrington, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Fort Myers, FL. He was 81. He was the husband of Frances (Wenning) Prichard for 54 years. Born in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of the late Albert and Harriet (Wilcox) Prichard. Pritchard was a retired electrical engineer and a Korean War veteran in the Navy. He worked for several defense contractors on Aquidneck Island. Calling hours will be held today from 4 to 7 pm at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Fred B. Fiske, 82, Anchor Insulation Founder

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, at Barrington Baptist Church.

Fred Byron Fiske, of Sixth Street, Barrington, died on May 14, 2013, after a long journey with Alzheimers. He was 82. He was the husband of Elenore “Ellie” (Schroder) Fiske for 59 years. Born in Rumford, East Providence, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna (Olson) Fiske. Fiske founded Anchor Insulation Co. in 1990; it now have five offices in three states. A Coast Guard veteran, he was a past member of Rhode Island Country Club, the Massasoit Gun Club and the Barrington Yacht Club. His funeral service will be held on Saturday June 1, 2013, in the Barrington Baptist Church, Old County Road, Barrington at 3 pm. Arrangements are being handled by the W. Agnes Andrews, of Sylvester Street, Barrington, died peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2013. She was 91. She was the wife of the late Paul L. Andrews Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Christopher and Catherine (Goodwin) Davis. She lived in Barrington for 56 years. Her funeral will be held today, May 15, 2013 from the W. Roger A. Duprat, 88, Veteran, Insurance Exec

Roger A. Duprat, 88, of Argyle Avenue, Riverside, East Providence, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully on May 7, 2013. He was 88. He was the husband of Rose (Teahan) Duprat for 64 years. Born in Boston, he grew up in Willamansett Mass., the only son of the late Athanase Duprat and Viola Cummings Duprat. A Marine Corps veteran, he fought in the Pacific in World War II. He raised his three daughters in Barrington and had a long career in the insurance industry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 13, 2013 in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 11 am. John E. Bettencourt, of Sowams Road, Barrington, died peacefully at home on May 5, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was 81. He was the husband of Josephine (Zinni) Bettencourt for 58 years. Born in Dighton, Mass., he was a son of the late Frank and Rose (Machado) Bettencourt. He lived in Barrington 59 years. Jose F. Gaspar, 84, Nursery, Textile Worker

Jose F. Gaspar, of Willett Avenue, Riverside, East Providence, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.  He was 84. He was the husband of  Evarista (Mello) Gaspar.  He was born in Pedro Miguel, Horta, Azores, a son of the late Jose F. and Mariana J. (deJesus) Gaspar.  Gaspar worked for Sowams Nursery in Barrington before retiring.  Previously, he worked in the textile industry for many years. Ronald G. Andrews, 79, Former Defense Department Employee

A memorial service for him will be held Saturday morning at St. John's Episcopal Church in Barrington.

  Ronald G. Andrews, of Barrington, died April 18, 2013, at home after a long illness. He was 79. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, The Rev. Shirley (Scholes) Andrews. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel and Elsie (Carvalho) Andrews. Andrews had a 31-year career with the U.S. Defense Department before moving to the Office of Audit General of New York City. He spent 22 years serving the Episcopal Church.
