Mike Minardi is Barrington's tax assessor. His office is on the first floor of Town Hall. Minardi and his staff collect and maintain data on real estate, motor vehicles and personal property to produce assessments for taxpayers. They work with a private firm, Vision Appraisal Technology, to evaluate real estate with state-of-the-art software. You can review your property record card online at the company's website. If necessary, the assessor's office will reinspect a home and correct errors. State law requires an updated assessment every three years and a full revaluation every nine. Barrington's last full revaluation was done in 2005. The next update will be done in 2011.
