I think it's despicable and mean spirited to air grudges in this kind of forum.
Miz Fibz is wonderful! I learned about it from a neighbor who raved about its food. I took a longtime friend there over a year ago, and she has since returned with her family and with me. (If the Cup Salute hadn't been phased out on the Sunrise Show, I'm sure she would have raised a mug to the restaurant, she enjoyed it that much.)
In all I've introduced five friends to Miz Fibz and none of them were disappointed with the food or service. Quite the opposite, the food is delicious and the service, welcoming and friendly.
Don't let the one star reviews dissuade you. They stand out among the five star reviews like poison ivy on a tree trunk.

Despite two people clearly airing personal disputes in their review the rating for Miss Fibz still has not dropped even as low as 4 stars. That should speak volumes.
Miss Fibz is a weekly tradition with my family. They always go out of their way to serve amazing food with service that is out of this world. Even when we were living in Newport, we still drove each week for "breakfast at fibz". The owners even make our 5 year old a mickey mouse pancake each week with tons of fruit that looks almost too good to eat. I tell them all the time they should raise their prices, quite frankly I cant believe they are in business with the prices they charge, The three of us can leave full and happy and it costs about $20.
Don't let the two negative reviews by people with personal issues keep you from discovering this rhode island gem.

I especially love the soups and gaspache at Miz. Fibz!! You can make a meal out of the Minestrone or Chili!!

Love their breakfast all day, have had everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed. Best pancakes with yogurt and blueberries, omelets, waffles, homefries, the works!

Miz Fibz catered our wedding and it was amazing! Also love that you can have a fabulous breakfast any time of the day. Great food, great owners, can't say enough!

I love Miz Fibz personalized service and ability to enjoy both the meals and time with friends & family without being rushed! Specials and menu items are always terrific. Catering is easy, reasonable and excellent. It's great to support a local business too!

I work all the elections in town as an election supervisor. Miz Fibz catered the lunches and dinners for us and the food was delicious. It is a great place to pick up some food to go if you are having company or just don't feel like cooking. :)
