Hampden Meadows serves Barrington's fourth- and fifth-grade pupils. The school's mission is "to foster reflective learning, characterized by mutual respect and responsibility through academic rigor, while nurturing individual social and emotional growth. We are supported by a strong partnership involving family and community in pursuit of life-long learning."

The faculty includes special services, reading, music, health and physical education and technology teachers. An active PTO sponsors a host of activities and special events. A nationally distinguished principal, Arlene Miguel, leads the school.
