Contrary to standard technique-based studios, Grooves focuses mostly on the theatrical side of dance. Grooves offers hourlong jazz classes for children ages 7 to 17, four days a week. Students are not only taught how to perform a step, they are also taught the importance of a story onstage. The philosophy behind Grooves is that every choreographic moment has a reason behind it; to portray the story effectively.  The studio's warm and colorful décor welcomes students and parents to a comfortable and exciting space to learn! Grooves holds an end-of-the-year theatrical dance showcase at Barrington High School, with music ranging anywhere from the Broadway repertoire to classic musicians like Madonna, Michael Jackson and Billy Joel.
