Here are some things to know about this weekend, Jan. 11-12, in and around Barrington:

A Pasta Family Fun Night will be held at St. Luke’s School in Barrington on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 5 to 8 pm. The event is a fundraiser for the February school vacation-week mission trip to Jamaica for 18 juniors and seniors in high school. The students will complete projects for and live with abandoned or disabled children at the Blessed Assurance foster home in the mountain village of St. James Adelphi outside Montego Bay.

Drop off your old, unused, or unwanted electronics – anything taking up space in your house with a wire -- for free on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Mount Hope Winter Farmers Market, 250 Metacom Ave., Bristol. IndieCycle will cart them away for recycling. For a $10 disposal fee, you can get rid of air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and mini-refrigerators as well.

Have you ever considered Lincoln School in Providence for your daughter? An All-School Open House will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 1 to 3 pm. While visiting the campus at 301 Butler Ave., you can meet current students, teachers, and parents, and hear from incoming Head of School Suzanne Fogarty.

Need we mention the NFL playoff game on Saturday night, Jan. 11, between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. The game starts at 8:30 pm. You can ride MBTA trains from Providence, T.F. Green Airport or South Station in Boston.

The Baptist Church in Warren continues the celebration of its founding 250 years ago with the second performance of its year-long concert series on Sunday at 3 pm. Renowned Warren singer Joyce Katzberg teams up with guitarist Jimmy Warren for a folk-fusion performance.
