Take another stroll in Barrington on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Merchants in the Barrington Business Association host their annual “Harvest Stroll” in front of Town Hall from 12 to 4 pm.
There will be plenty of food trucks, pumpkin carving at the Kids Kove Playground, a hayride to take you to merchants around town who plan their own activities, live music at the library, and plenty of other things for kids to do.
You can also take a tour of the Barrington Town Hall as the 125th anniversary of its opening in 1888 is celebrated.
The Tudor Medieval-style building is considered one of the most visually striking in New England. Built from local boulders and stones, it is located along the Barrington River as the cornerstone of Government Center, which includes most municipal offices, the library, the offices of the school administration, and the senior center.
There is no admission charge. You're on your own with food, though, as you stroll around and inside Town Hall.
