The Nightlife Orchestra returns to Tillinghast Farm on Nayatt Road  on Sunday evening for the third concert in the summer series hosted by the Recreation Department and sponsored by BankNewport. The show starts at 6 pm on the hill that overlooks open fields and Narragansett Bay. Bring your own chairs and blankets or use several picnic tables to enjoy a light supper as you listen to the orchestra’s Big Band sounds.

Do some weekend shopping at the Barrington farmers market at the Barrington Congregational Church on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 am to noon. There are always new vendors on hand with seasonal produce, breads, pastries and other home-grown goods. Among the usual vendors are New Urban Farmers in Pawtucket, Aquidneck Honey in Middletown, Providence Coffee Roasters in Providence, Nettie's Kettle Corn in North Providence, Oakdale Farm in Rehoboth, and Seven Stars Bakery in Providence and East Providence.

Temple Habonim, 165 New Meadow Road, offers the final film in its summer movie festival on Sunday at 7:30 pm. The Last Butterfly tells the story of stage mime Antoine Moreau (Tom Courtenay), who is compelled by the Gestapo to put on a performance for the children of the Terezin concentration camp to convince Red Cross observers that the camp is truly what it seems. Reluctant at first, Moreau learns the true nature of the camp. With a world-class orchestra -- made up of people interned in the camp -- and a cast of children, Moreau stages a show to end all shows. The film takes its title from one of the real life sketches made by a Jewish girl in Terezin showing a butterfly swooping away over the barbed wire fence to freedom.
