Emma's 2nd Blood Drive Today

Emma Katzen, 12, of Barrington continues to battle leukemia; Pop Warner is hosting a second blood and marrow drive outside the middle school from 3 to 8 pm.

A second blood and marrow drive for Emma Katzen is todat, Aug. 1, from 3 to 8 pm

Emma is the 12-year-old Barrington girl who was diagnosed with leukemia late last year and who has been fighting for her life by undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments ever since.

Emma’s family has found a tremendous amount of support from their friends and neighbors in Barrington, especially the Pop Warner football and cheerleading organization, for which Emma is a cheerleader.

Pop Warner is hosting another blood drive for Emma outside the Barrington Middle School because she has undergone numerous blood transfusions since she was hospitalized. You can also get your cheek swabbed for a bone marrow registry.

By donating blood, you can show your support for Emma and help others who need blood transfusions.

If you can’t make the blood drive, you can go to any Blood Center in Rhode Island with reference code 3128. Your donation will be credited to Emma.
