Take a Peek at Teen Beach Party

Approximately 100 teens came out to Barrington Beach for annual event hosted by the Barrington Recreation department and The BAY Team.

The annual "teen beach party" at Barrington Beach last Friday evening, Aug. 23, drew about 100 teens to a night of swimming, volleyball, archery, hula hoops, making parachute bracelets, pizza, ice cream, s’mores, music, and an inflatable wrecking ball.

The event was hosted by the Barrington Recreation Department and The BAY Team coalition against substance abuse. The Bayside YMCA provided music from its mobile van – Y on the Move. All Barrington teens between the ages of 13-19 were invited.

Recreation counselor Chris Jouette organized the event for the recreation department. See a few photos provided by Kathy Sullivan of The BAY Team; you can see many more on coalition’s Facebook page.
