Summer is well underway. Is it going like you planned for your teenagers?

Teens, of course, have way more free time than when school is in session. That means there is more time to take risks and to give into temptation to try alcohol and marijuana, according to The BAY Team, Barrington’s drug-free community coalition.

What to do? Here are some tips to navigate the rest of the summer with your teenager:

  • Prepare for boredom.
  • A summer job is not a barrier to experimentation; it may even be the gateway.
