Museum Offers Some Summer Fun

The Town Museum operated by the Barrington Preservation Society offers some fun activities for children 5-12 on Saturday afternoon.

The Town Museum hosts a “Summer Fun Family Day” on Saturday, July 21, for children ages 5-12.

Children and their families “can take part in a history detective game, create a nautical collage, draw your favorite sea creature, or make a fish puppet,” said Carole Villucci, museum director.

The family day will start at 1 pm.

“All activities are inspired by the museum’s current exhibition, ‘200 Years of Barrington Summers’,” she said.

There will be prizes and surprises, Villucci said. Everything is free. All materials will be provided.
