Here's List of Cooling Centers in Area

Temperatures could top out in the high 90s -- maybe even triple digits -- the next two days with plenty of humidity. That could mean you need a place to go if you don't have air conditioning in your home or apartment.

The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) has set up cooling center throughout the state. You are urged to take advantage of a nearby cooling center when you need one.

There are no official RI cooling centers in Barrington, although you can always head on over to the library or the Senior Center in the lower level to get out of the heat. 

Barrington also has extended the hours at the beach until 7:30 pm with the bath house and first aid center open and lifeguards on duty.

There are cooling centers in nearby communities you can take advantage of if you need one.
