Eagles Roll Into AAU Final Four

East Bay Eagles baseball team is the top seed for the New England AAU 11U Super Division Playoffs this weekend; five Barrington players on team.

The East Bay Eagles have advanced to the Final Four of the 11U Super Division New England AAU Playoffs coming up this weekend.

The Eagles, who are hosting the tournament, got to the Final Four by going undefeated in pool play last weekend. The squad was the only team to emerge from pool play unbeaten.

The Eagles pounded the the Quincy Redstockings, 10-0; the South Shore Seadogs, 13-7, and the South County Riptides, 7-1, to earn the top seed.

Five Barrington baseball players are on the Eagles’ squad – George Connelly, Scott Dickervitz, Kevin Gower, Will Panarello and Nico Salvaggio.

The team is managed by Tom Gower and coached by Mike Panarello, Mike Pratt and Kevin Salvaggio.

The Eagles are hosting the 11U Final Four on Saturday for both the Super and Open Divisions, with teams competing for the New England championship from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
