The winner in the annual promotion by the Barrington Business Association gets a $1,000 shopping spree.
Barrington merchants are handing out passports again.
The documents are actually “Passports to Savings” books filled with coupons from about two dozen local stores, restaurants and services. It’s an annual promotion of the Barrington Business Association.
Coupons used by shoppers until the end of December gives them a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree. The winner will be chosen in January.

Merchants participating in the “Passport to Savings” promotion include 2 eateries, 13 retail stores and 7 service providers. The passport is divided into three sections to make it easy to use.
