“That means everyone hits a shot, then the whole group hits from the location of the best shot and the process is repeated until a ball is holed,” said Steven Forte of FBLA.  “It is a fun and easy format that does not put the stress of normal golf on players.”

Registration for the tourney opens an hour earlier.

A dinner with the awarding of prizes will follow the tournament. Prizes will go to players who win putting contests, hit the longest drives and more, according to Forte.

The cost is $85 per player or $340 for a foursome. You can sponsor a tee for $100.

Proceeds from the event will go to the March of Dimes and other FBLA activities.

To register, email Steven Forte at Stevenfortegolf@gmail.com.  Or contact John West, the FBLA advisor, at westj@bpsmail.org or Barrington High School at (401)-247-3150.
