No School, Barrington, and other Closings

Barrington schools have cancelled class on Thursday because of the impending snowstorm.

All school activities have been cancelled.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service shows that Barrington could get as much as 8 inches of snow from the storm. Snow should begin to fall Thursday morning and intensify during the morning rush hour. Snow could turn to ice during the afternoon before changing back to snow Thursday night. 

So far, there is no parking ban for Barrington residents to heed. 

But there are other closings throughout town.

Barrington Christian Academy is closed today. So is the Montessori Center of Barrington, St. Luke School and the Barrington Senior Center.

Kid's Junction will open at 7 a.m. today.
