Barrington School Comm. Member Appointed Principal at EG Private School

A resident of Barrington, Fuller is a parishioner of St. Luke's Church in that town where he serves as Lector and member of the Bishop Hickey Council of the Knights of Columbus.

Our Lady of Mercy Regional School in East Greenwich has announced the appointment of Scott W. Fuller, a 30-year educator, as its new principal.

"I am committed to the Catholic educational philosophy that embraces training the 'whole child,' including, first and foremost, a child's spiritual formation," Fuller said. "I now look forward to bringing my experience to Our Lady of Mercy Regional School and significantly contributing to the spiritual and educational growth of the school community."

Fuller graduated from California State University with a bachelors in psychology and got his masters in secondary administration from Providence College.

He served in the Cumberland School District starting in 1990 and served as assistant principal of the high school as well as a math teacher.

Before that, Fuller taught at Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket and spent a decade in the corporate banking field.

He's also a member of the Barrington School Committee.

He is the father of three boys: Chase, Travis and Mitchell.

"He brings a wealth of educational experience, an abundance of energy and talent and most importantly, a strong commitment to his Catholic faith."
