Barrington, Moses Brown Play to 1-1 Tie

Both high school girls' field hockey teams remain undefeated after stalemate in Barrington.

Barrington High School’s girls’ field hockey team is still undefeated, but the squad now has a tie. 

The Eagles played to a 1-1 stalemate with Moses Brown on Tuesday afternoon in Barrington in a rematch of last season’s state championship game, according to the Providence Journal.

The game matched up the only two unbeaten teams in Division I. Barrington is now 10-0-1; the Quakers are now 9-0-2.

Barrington’s Jillian May scored an unassisted goal to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead at 12:22 of the first half. Moses Brown’s Keighan Richardson tied up the game with a goal on a penalty stroke at 15:36 of the second half. 

The Eagles dominated shots on goal with 11 to the Quakers’ 2.
