Volunteers Wanted for 3 Town Boards
There are vacancies on the Board of Canvassers, the Energy Committee and the Housing Board of Trustees in Barrington.
The Barrington Town Council is seeking volunteers to serve on three boards and commissions.
The Board of Canvassers has one vacancy with a very specific qualified elector needed. The volunteer must be a registered Republican or a registered Moderate to fill an unexpired term ending March 31, 2015. There is a small stipend.
The Energy Committee, previously known as the Committee for Renewable Energy Barrington (CREB), has a vacancy. The volunteer would fill an unexpired term that ends in November.
The Housing Board of Trustees has two vacancies. One is for a volunteer to serve as a third alternate to fill an unexpired term ending in October 2014; one is for a second alternate to fill an unexpired term ending October 2015.

The deadline to submit your résumé to the Town Clerk’s Office is Tuesday, Oct. 1.
