Public Invited to Streetscape Workshop Feb. 26

One of the things that makes a community more beautiful, inviting and representative of the people who live there is the streetscape.

Trees, lights, the condition of the sidewalks and other details can lift a neighborhood's property value, yes, but it also helps establish a sense of place and identity to the people who live and pass through town every day.

Your chance to chime in on a conceptual plan for a streetscape and wayfinding signage improvement plan on Maple Avenue, Wood Avenue, West Street, Waseca Avenue and Cottage Lane is coming up.

On Feb. 26, the town will present the "Barrington Village Center Connectivity Plan"  at 7 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall.

The public is urged to come and take a look at the plan and offer thoughts, suggestions and concerns.
