GOP Candidates to Mix Politics, Wine

The Barrington Republican Town Committee is hosting a reception and wine tasting on Sunday, Oct. 21, at Grapes & Grains; U.S. Senate candidate Barry Hinckley is a special guest.

Fine wine and politics will mix again in Barrington on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 21.

The Barrington Republican Town Committee is holding another reception and wine tasting for town council, school committee and legislative candidates at Grapes & Grains liquor store, 24 Bosworth St.

A special guest will be U.S. Senate candidate Barry Hinckley, who is challenging Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, said Steve Primiano, chairman of the GOP Town Committee.

The Sunday reception runs from 2 to 4 pm.

"The reception is open to anyone interested in learnging more about the local Republican slate," said Primiano. "Complimentary hor's douvres and wine will be offered. There is no charge."
