Emergency Shelter Opens in Barrington

The Primrose Hill School is opened by RIEMA as a Red Cross-operated shelter.

An emergency shelter for anyone who has to evacuate their homes has been opened at Primrose Hill School in Barrington.

The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) announced that the shelter is open to all Rhode Islanders who may need to evacuate. It was scheduled to open at 7 pm Sunday, Oct. 28.
