Woman Charged After Backing Into Boyfriend's Car

Barrington police charge a Barrington woman, 29, with two counts of domestic violence.

A Barrington woman, 29, faces two domestic charges after an incident with her boyfriend on Sunday, Dec. 2.

Jenni L. Barrette, of 108 County Road, allegedly backed her car into her boyfriend's car after they got into an argument and he reportedly locked her out of a bedroom, according to Barrington police.

The vehicle reportedly received damage to a door. Police responded to the altercation at around 10:50 pm.

Barrette was taken to the police station to be arraigned by a justice of the peace. She faces charges of domestic vandalism and malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct, according to the police report.

She was released after arraignment with a date to appear in District Court.
