A Barrington woman has been banned from entering the Citizens Bank branch office in nearby Riverside.
The woman, 59, of Fountain Avenue, allegedly entered the bank last Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 1, and began yelling at employees and customers, according to a Barrington incident report. It is not the first time she has caused a similar scene, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.
The bank manager called Barrington police to say that he had a problem with a female customer, LaCross said. She was described as “unruly.”
A Barrington patrol officer went to her home and issued her a no-trespassing order, LaCross said. She also was informed that if she returns to the Citizens Bank branch in Riverside, she will be arrested.
