Woman, 40, Charged After Fighting With Warren Police Officers

Barrington woman goes a bit berserk while officers try to interview her about possible domestic situation.

A Barrington woman who apparently went a bit berserk with Warren police officers last Saturday evening, Dec. 28, now faces two charges.

Keely A. Standish, 40, of 24 Fountain Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police officers responded to a report of possible domestic assault at a home on Roseland Avenue in Warren at about 10:30 pm. She was reported to have been drinking.

No domestic charges were field, said Warren Police Lt. Roland Brule. But while officers tried to interview Standish to help "defuse" a tense situation, he said: “She became violent with officers and began to fight with them.”
