UPDATE: Fire Appears to Have Started Outside Burr Avenue Home

State Fire Marshal and Barrington fire officials investigating cause of the blaze.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating the blaze on Tuesday evening, Nov. 26, at a home at the end of Burr Avenue in Hampden Meadows. The blaze seemed to start on the exterior of the home, according to the Barrington Fire Department.

No one was injured. But the couple who lives there had to leave the home because the power was turned off.

The blaze moved up an exterior wall to an attic vent, according to the fire department. It then made its way into the house and a bedroom in the two-story home.
