Police Treat Kids to Glow Sticks, Candy Again
The Barrington Police Department continues a Halloween tradition for trick-or-treaters.
Barrington trick-or-treaters were greeted by police officers with Glow Sticks and candy Thursday night, Oct. 31. It’s an annual Halloween tradition of the police department, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.
“They usually see us coming and swarm the police car before the officer even can get out,” he said.
The officers giving out the treats this year were Sgt. Tim Harrington, Sgt. Gino Caputo and patrolmen Gregg Koutros, Anthony DeCristoforo, Tim Oser and Josh Melo. Money from the P.A.L. paid for the Glow Sticks and candy, LaCross said.
