Police Notified of Alleged Embezzlement

A Barrington man accused of embezzling $10,000 from his business partner has agreed to pay it back, according to police.

A Barrington man, 44, who has been accused of embezzling more than $10,000 from his business partner has agreed to pay the money back, according to the Barrington police.

The police were notified of the agreement by the Clarke Road man’s business partner, who lives in New Jersey, according to the police. Their company is located in New York, according to the police.

The police were contacted on Oct. 5 simply to make them aware of the embezzlement and the way it’s being handled by the firm at this time.

No charges have been lodged. The Clarke Road man has not been arrested.
