Police Asking for Your Help in Identifying This Shoplifting Suspect

She is a suspect in a theft of jewelry from Barrington Books last year.

Can you identify this woman?

She is a shoplifting suspect from a theft at Barrington Books on May 28 last year, according to Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.

"The Barrington Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a shoplifting suspect," said LaCross.

The woman, wearing black clothing, walked into Barrington Books at 184 County Road and stole approximately 160 Alex & Ani jewelry pieces worth more than $5,000, LaCross said.

The woman is captured on video surveillance taking numerous pieces of jewelry and placing them into her purse and leaving the store without paying for them, he said.
