From the 'This will hurt you more that it hurts us' department:

Woonsocket police stayed busy this week with a who allegedly could not stop acting aggressively, even once he was at the station. Police responded to a call of two men breaking a car window. One of the men fled to a nearby house and began yelling and kicking the front door. He reportedly yelled at officers in Spanish, swore several times and repeatedly let his legs go limp, falling into the snow, as they tried to escort him back to their car. The man reportedly fell once to the ground, smashing his face into the snow-covered pavement. Inside the cruiser, the man smashed his head repeatedly into the plexiglass divider and window bars. Police used pepper spray, but it only made the suspect angrier, and he reportedly continued to kick the cruiser door all the way back to the station. The man’s belligerent behavior continued in the police station when he refused eye treatment for the spray, continually let his legs go limp and repeatedly banged his head against the wall. Even inside a cell, the man charged at the cell door several times as if trying to break through it. Officers finally brought the man to the hospital for treatment once he calmed down.

The couple that brawls together, stays together, in jail.

at a local bar in Portsmouth. The husband apparently became argumentative when asked to leave. That’s when the husband allegedly ripped the doorman's shirt, and then his wife reportedly joined the fight by kicking the doorman in the groin and striking him with her hands. The duo was arrested.

So...where's the cat?

An allegedly told police he planned to “take his cat for a walk” at 1:20 am in Barrington. Police reportedly found the man pulled over in the road with his head down. When police stopped to see if the man needed assistance, they smelled the odor of marijuana and the man became “jittery and sweating.” No cat ended up being in the vehicle, but there was a Ziploc bag of marijuana and a smoking pipe.

Young driver in possession of alcohol twice in same day: 'I have no excuses'

A 20-year-old during the Saturday Jan. 21 snowstorm. Narragansett police stopped him at 12:20 am with two others in a red Ford Focus. Police discovered he was transporting a case of Bud Lite while underage. At 8:20 p.m. that same day, the police saw the same Ford Focus pull out of a liquor store with beer and ended up charging him again with transporting alcohol by a minor. Both times there were occupants in the car who were older than 21 and claimed to buy the beer. When asked by police about the alcohol in his car a second time, the 20-year-old allegedly told them, “I have no excuses.”

Stopped in street, slumped over wheel, foot on brake - DUI charge.

Police tried to wake a of his car parked in the middle of the road at night. Banging on the window and yelling loudly did not work, so police, fearing for the man’s well-being, used a tool to punch through the window to get to the driver. He received drunken driving charges and refused to submit to a chemical test. The police had to put the car into park because the driver apparently had it in drive, his foot on the brake pedal the whole time. The driver reportedly told police he did not know how he got there and was uncooperative with medical personnel.
