Man Finds 'Game' Camera Attached to Tree on His Property

White Birch Lane property owner reports he found a camera aimed at his yard.

A Barrington man reported to the police last Thursday, Dec. 26, that he found a camera attached to a tree on his property.

The man, 79, lives on White Birch Lane almost at the tip of Rumstick Point. The camera is believed to be a Primos game camera used by hunters to target deer and other game, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.

The camera was aimed in the direction of his yard, the man told police. Details of how the camera got on his tree or who might have attached it to a tree and why are unknown.
