Man Faces DUI Charge After Driving Through Front Lawns

An Attleboro man faces drunk-driving and obstructing justice charges filed by Barrington police.

An Attleboro, Mass., man, 31, faces a drunk-driving charge after he allegedly drove through the front lawns of two County Road homes late Monday evening, Dec. 17.

Kurt E. Risotti, of 223 Knight Ave., was stopped on Wampanoag Trail by a Barrington patrol officer around 11 pm. He compounded his troubles by giving a fake name and birth date, which led to a second charge of obstructing a police officer in the performance of his duties, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.

Risotti failed several field sobriety tests. At the police station, he took two Breathalyzers tests, which showed blood alcohol levels of .098 and .095 – both above the .08 legal ceiling, said LaCross.
