Fake ID With Their Address Shows Up in Mail
ID found in Coral Gables, Fla., restaurant sent home to Barrington address.
Their postal carrier delivered Barrington residents on Nayatt Road quite a surprise last week.
The Barrington residents received in the mail last Wednesday, Nov. 20, a fake identification card bearing their address on Nayatt Road. They reported the fake ID to the Barrington police.
The fake ID bore the photo of a young person and a name they did not recognize, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross. It apparently had been lost at a restaurant in Coral Gables, Fla.

A restaurant employee obviously thought the ID was legitimate and wanted to return it to the residents in Barrington, LaCross said. The fake ID looked very authentic, the police chief said.
